In today’s episode, I’m sharing with you my signature photography marketing strategy.
I’ve been using the TLC Set It & Forget It marketing strategy for years. It’s a photography marketing strategy that allows you to automate your marketing and work way less while still making way more money.
Let’s dive in. . .
An automated photography marketing funnel takes time.
Today’s big topic is my Set It and Forget It marketing system. Before we dive in, I want to get real with you, the strategy takes time to implement and see results.
But, when you put in the work, this is a photography marketing strategy that allows you to get out of your business and enjoy life more while still making money.
All good things take time, though, so you have to put in the work and have patience until you start seeing results. Trust the process, ya know?
In today’s episode, I cover:
- High converting website
- Email marketing
- Social media
- Referrals
- Events
The five puzzle pieces I share with you today help you create a photography marketing strategy that gives you more freedom outside of your business while still bringing in consistent sales.
You have to know exactly who your ideal client is for this to work.
This is the backbone to building your photography marketing strategy with the TLC Set It and Forget It System.
I can not stress enough how important it is to know who your ideal client is!
This is the person you love to work with and who wants exactly what you have to offer.
We need to know exactly who our ideal client is in order to speak directly to them in your marketing strategy. By speaking directly to them, they will know you’re not just the best fit for them, but the only fit as their photographer.
In this episode, I share with you what exactly an ideal client is, how you determine who your ideal client is, what questions to ask your ideal client, who my ideal client was and how that’s changed over the years, and so much more!
Your website should do all the heavy lifting.
A high converting website is going to take your lead to a client really quickly.
For a high converting website to work, it needs to answer any and all of your ideal client’s questions. This will convert leads to clients so much quicker.
BUT… if you only have a high converting website without optimized SEO–or search engine optimization–then you’re leaving money on the table. SEO needs to be addressed as well.
Warming up your audience with your photography marketing strategy.
Email Marketing has an ROI of $38 to every dollar spent. I’d say that makes it a great investment of your time!
Email marketing is a great way to warm up your leads in preparation for annual sales.
In today’s episode, I cover how email marketing works within a photography marketing strategy.
One of my 1:1 clients set up her year long photography email funnel. She was so worried that it wasn’t converting, but what happened was by 8am she had sold out her Black Friday sale this year. This was all accomplished by warming up her audience by an email marketing strategy.
BTW, the strategy she used is laid out in Six-Figures Simplified.
Social media is a necessary evil(unfortunately).
That being said, it’s not the only piece of the puzzle. Please don’t fall into the trap of relying solely on Instagram or Facebook.
But, having a Facebook AND an Instagram does confirm to potential leads and clients that your business is still open.
Use your social media to funnel your leads to a high converting website so that your website can turn them into great clients.
Referrals are the best clients.
Some of your very best clients will come from referrals! These specific clients trust the referring person or business, which, in turn, means they trust you.
In this episode, I share with you how and why client and business referrals will book you tons of great clients.
Invest in events.
I am the most introverted person, but I invest in bridal fairs, women’s shows, and networking events. These are proven ways to bring in more clients and boost your email list.
You can even host events in your own studio to grow awareness as well.
Be sure to listen to this epidode because I share with you what events I invested in and why. You can also listen to this specific episode all about how I booked 17 sessions at one bridal fair. I give strategy inside this episode.
My 30 hour work month is simply because of the time I invested up front in my photography marketing strategy.
My website does 100% of my heavy lifting by answering every single question that all of my clients have. This builds trust with my clients before they ever even meet me…
… it’s like I’m in their head!
