Faith Ray of Faith Ray Boudoir found me September of 2021. We’ve been working together on her boudoir photo business since October and she has made HUGE strides in her business.
This beautiful stay-at-home mom and her husband have two kids and they are seriously the cutest little family.
Faith’s boudoir photo business made their dreams happen FAST!
As of June 2022, they sold their house and are officially moving to San Antonio, Texas. What’s truly crazy about this is when we started working together Faith and her husband Robby BOTH said that moving back to Texas would be 2 years or more in their future.
But her boudoir photo business sped up the decision. She’s been booking clients left and right in San Antonio, so it was an easy decision for both of them.
What steps did she take?
I’m sure you’re wondering how exactly Faith made this happen so quickly. To start with, she is a TLC Coaching client who flew through the TLC Course Suite and the TLC Boudoir Photographers Mastermind.
By implementing every single business and marketing recommendation to a tee, she’s already achieved more in such a short time than she ever thought possible.
She’s:
- Created a price list that’s built for profit(even when she lacked confidence in it, she still used it).
- Taken control of her finances to make sure she has a healthy business, with the help of my spreadsheets – The TLC Full Time Formula, Long Term Budget Blueprint, and Budget Blueprint.
- Built a website that converts leads into clients with ease – she booked out her first San Antonio sessions within days of opening her schedule!
- Booked sessions in a city she isn’t even living in yet!
Faith is a brand new photographer!
Less than a year ago, a boudoir photo business was just a pipe dream. She’s had a camera in her hands for years, but never took it seriously.
Because Faith is a brand new professional photographer, we’ve been going at her pace. She’s taking massive strides quickly, but she isn’t as advanced as some of my photography clients business wise. And that means, sometimes, we go back to basics.
Before working with me, she was just charging a few dollars here and there, but she hadn’t REALLY been paid. We’ve increased her pricing in stepping stones so that her confidence could grow as her business grew.
Everyone’s journey is different.
Sure, some photographers fly through the business building stage and make six figures year one…
Wherever you are… it’s okay. Grow at your own pace and build a business the way YOU want it to look.
I posted a reel a few weeks ago on my Instagram that hit home for a lot of my Instagram followers. Building a business is actually super fun. Most of the time, though, we are so focused on the end goal, that we don’t embrace the journey.
